Welcome home
SDA Church Loma Linda is a congregation shaped by worship, prayer, Bible study, fellowship and service. We keep the Sabbath as a gift, study Scripture seriously, and carry the hope of Christ's return into everyday life in Meru and beyond.
Whether you are looking for a church home, coming back after time away, or simply curious about faith, come as you are. There is a seat for you, a class for your children, and a church family ready to walk with you, and to remember you in prayer.
Mission & vision
Our mission
Make disciples of Jesus Christ who live as His loving witnesses and proclaim to all people the everlasting gospel of the Three Angels' Messages in preparation for His soon return.
Matthew 28:18-20 · Acts 1:8 · Revelation 14:6-12
Our vision
In harmony with Bible revelation, Seventh-day Adventists see as the climax of God's plan the restoration of all His creation to full harmony with His perfect will and righteousness.
Revelation 21:1-5 · 2 Peter 3:13
We follow Jesus, trust Scripture, and make room for questions, growth, and grace.
Everyone should find a welcoming church family where they are known, valued, and remembered in prayer.
We put faith into action by caring for our neighbours and responding to practical needs with compassion.
We share the hope of the gospel and encourage one another through every season of life.
What we believe
We are a Seventh-day Adventist congregation, which simply means we keep the seventh-day Sabbath and live in the hope of Christ's return. These are the beliefs that shape our worship and our life together.
The Holy Scriptures are the inspired Word of God and our only rule of faith and practice.
2 Timothy 3:16, 17
Salvation is God's free gift, received by faith in Jesus, who lived, died and rose again for us.
John 3:16 · Ephesians 2:8
The seventh-day Sabbath, from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset, is a gift of rest and communion with our Creator.
Genesis 2:2, 3 · Exodus 20:8-11
Baptism by immersion marks a life given to Christ and a place in His church family.
Matthew 28:19 · Romans 6:4
Jesus will return visibly and personally, to make all things new.
Acts 1:11 · Revelation 22:12
Our bodies are God's temple, so we care for body, mind and spirit and serve others with compassion.
1 Corinthians 6:19, 20 · 3 John 2
